Settings -1-The scientists never wanted anyone to see this. There were so many different things in there that should never have been created. Monsters of every shape, size, and variety floated in tubes filled with green liquid, some looking no more than a few days old. It was obvious that there was still much growing for all of these hideous creatures to do. These tubes lined two sides of the room and some even hung from the ceiling, each of them giving off a ghastly green glow as lights illuminated their insides, throwing odd shadows on the beasts within, making them look even more grotesque. This definitely was something out of some sort of horror fant Settings -1-

Online Resources for RPPlaces to Roleplay
There are many places to roleplay online. Here are a few pretty good ones that RPGStock recommends:
deviantART - http://www.deviantart.com - Roleplaying through notes is a lot more common than you might think. Forums can also be used, especially personal forums owned by subscribers.
GaiaOnline - http://www.gaiaonline.com - Despite its less than stellar reputation in regards to Animé discussion. GaiaOnline is probably one of the largest and best places to Roleplay. Just be prepared for a lot of disappointments as with any large community but if you find the right people then you'll Online Resources for RP

What is RPGStock?

RPGStock is a resource dedicated to providing various resources to Roleplayers. We aim to provide character and setting prompts as well as stock images for characters, clothing and locations.

What resources do you have?

We have the following categories:

Contemporary Outfits (aka 'real life'.)

Fantasy Outfits

Sci-Fi Outfits

Stock Characters

Locations

Resources (All templates and written material found here.)

What are the rules for using your resources?

We ask only the following:

Credit us when you use our resources.

Do not edit our stock images (Although prompts may be adapted).

Do not upload any of our images onto photobucket or other image hosting websites.

How can I contribute?

Join as a Member then request to become a Contributor with some examples of your work. If you are approved then you will be upgraded to a Contributor and allowed to submit to our gallery.

What can I contribute?

Artists and Photographers: Some people like to use drawn artwork and others prefer to use real people. In either case what we would like from artists and photographers are stock outfits for contemporary, fantasy and sci-fi settings. Also we would like pictures of various locations and stock characters (For photographers this can include anyone and everyone you can convince to let you add their picture to this resource.)

Writers: For writers we looked for a variety of things. For the most part we're looking for prompts on characters and settings as well as essays on various aspects of roleplaying online. If you can think of any other relevant literature to submit then please do so and it will be considered just like any other piece.

RPGStock Relaunch!

With the launch of the Groups program. RPGStock is now a group. For those wondering what this means it would be a good idea to check out the Help&FAQ section on dA for more general questions about groups.

For more specific questions related to RPGStock:

I'm a contributor! What do I do now?

Just ask to become a member of the group and then when you've joined I'll upgrade you to a contributor. As a contributor you will be able to submit deviations directly to the gallery rather than having to send them through me.

My question isn't on here or your FAQ or the dA FAQ

Ask here and I'll try my best to answer.
